I really like these dividers for use in the waiting area of my business. They help create a visual barrier, however I am not sure they could be used for privacy because it seems like you can kind of see some of what is on the other side - just a bit. They are nice looking and attractive.

This is a very attractive screen. It's advertised as having a "jute inlay", but it appears to be made of round matchsticks held together with thin jute twine. It is still great looking, just not quite what I was expecting. As another reviewer had written, it is see through so, like she did, I covered the back with brown wrapping paper. My husband is disabled, and we use this screen to hide his spare power wheelchair in the corner of our living room. It's called a "dorm divider", but it's nice enough to use in a living room. It is very lightweight, and has to be positioned carefully for stability.

I bought this to close off my kitchen from my living room. It is a pretty design but is too transparent, you can still see my kitchen easily. But it does look nice. You need to have a stand with this as it falls easily on my thick carpeting.

Does the job, but was looking more for complete privacy. This you can see thru. We have it behind my husbands chair when he plays video game and it allows filtered light, meaning he can see glare and the brightness from the windows behind him. I am making curtains that will fit inside the edges on one side to block light and that should fix the problem. Could have been made a bit sturdier and stable, not recommended for use on a rug.

I purchased two of these to close off a room from our cats, as I didn't want to install a more permanent solution (i.e., didn't want to put holes in the wall!). Bad news - the screens are easy to knock over, which in turn may cause the jute inlay to pop out. Also, not good for privacy, as the inlay is see-through. Good news - they work well for the purpose I need them to fill, they look nice (not cheap), and even though they have had the inlay punched out of them several times when they've fallen over, they're pretty easy to repair.
Overall, I think they are a great deal for the price! I have not seen anything since at stores that I've been to that have come anywhere near these.

I Use them to "hide" a small kitchen at my work. They work very well but are slightly transparent. I added some brown butchers paper on the backside with some hot glue and they now look great, and work fantastic..
